I just got this cool new CD by Avril Lavigne, and I can totally relate to her songs. She is seventeen. She sings about teenage stuff, like not being able to be yourself, rejection, wishing you’d done what you wanted instead of what your friends thought was cool, how everything’s changing, how things are complicated, shutting everyone out, and trying to be cool by not saying what you would normally say around guys. I feel like I can connect with her.
